FAQs About My Services

What type of clients do you work with?

I mainly work with female founders who know they have the best offer or service for their target audiencebut are struggling to put it into words (or better: into words that can bring them actual results).

Maybe it’s because their website copy was written without a strategy or they struggle to clarify their own messaging. Perhaps it’s because they’ve been wasting a tonne of time writing blog posts that nobody reads.

Either way, their website hasn’t been bringing them enough high-quality leads.

After relying on DIYed or cheap copy for years, they’re now BEYOND READY to invest in a professional website copywriter and consultant who’ll change that.

Ready to attract the kind of clients who see them as THE go-to solution in their nicheand who want to work with them and them only.

DISCLAIMER: while I’m known as a copywriter for female entrepreneurs, I never discriminate. I’m always happy to collaborate with other clients regardless of their gender (as long as they’re the right fit for my services)

Will you be able to write for me if you haven't got any relevant experience in my field?

Yes! I’ve already been working with service providers from all kinds of backgrounds and industries, from digital marketing to sustainable fashion and brand photography (and more). How do I do that?

1. I conduct A TONNE of research. Input from your audience, competitor websites, reviews and testimonials, blogs, forums, and so on. All before I type a single word.

2. I collaborate with savvy clients who understand they still need to be involved. After all, if you want to be seen as a thought leader in your field, you’re gonna have to act like one. Sounds fair, doesn’t it?

So, I will ask you questions and get you to fill in my briefing document with as much information as you can.

And when it comes to ongoing blogging services? I’m NOT like one of those agencies that rely on Google searches alone (and churn out the blandest content). Sure, I’ll conduct plenty of independent research, too

But I’ll need your perspective as well. And don’t worry: you most definitely will NOT need to jump on a call every time. I have a system that makes this a breeze. Basically…

your input & expertise + my strategy, research & words = copy that makes you stand out against everyone else

What are your copywriting rates?

You can find my pricing (or some starting points) on each service and offer page.

As for add-ons, I price per project. You’re always welcome to share your budget with me when booking a strategy session.

Do you write SEO copy?

Yes, SEO copy is my bread and butter!

However, I always write for human readers first—’cause they’re the only ones who will actually spend money on your business.

I then optimise all your copy for search engines to give you the very best chances of showing up on Google.

Can you guarantee page 1 Google rankings?

No. NOBODY can guarantee a page 1 Google ranking. Is someone promising you that? Then RUN as fast as you can, my friend, ’cause that’s a scam.

So many of the website pages and blog posts that I’ve written for my clients (and myself) actually do rank on that coveted first page.

Some of them are the very first organic search results. Some others have found their way to the featured snippet.

Excellent SEO-friendly copy and blog posts (yep, like the ones I’ll write for you) are an essential starting point. They don’t automatically guarantee a first-page ranking, though. Why?

Because there are other factors that come into play, and they’re outside my control.

For example, is your actual website optimised for search engines? Is it mobile-friendly? Its colours, fonts, and layout: do they make the actual copy easy to read? Have you followed my instructions and promoted your blog posts properly after they were posted? Has your website got a few backlinks?

If the answer is no, it’ll be harder for your new copy to show up on Google’s top pages.

However, as well as delivering strategic SEO-friendly copy, I always share recommendations on how you can help it gain traction on Google. So, I’m basically giving you the very best chances.

What types of payment do you accept?

I accept bank transfers and Wise.com payments. The latter is a popular and cost-effective option amongst most of my international clients.

I require 100% upfront for anything up to £500, and I offer payment plans for my core offers (e.g. 50% upfront to reserve my availability).

Are you professionally insured?

Yep. Professionally insured with Markel! Extra peace of mind for both of us.

Can we jump on a call/Zoom call to talk about my project?

I’m no longer offering free discovery calls.

Nowadays, I only collaborate with clients who’re READY AND EXCITED to work with menot those who book discovery calls with a bunch of writers without even reading their website (and then ghost most of them).

Instead, I’ve implemented a discovery and onboarding process that ensures:

  • you’re actually serious about our collaboration

  • you’ll receive a tonne of value right from the start (unlike with traditional and directionless discovery calls)

  1. Decide whether I’m the right copywriter and consultant for you. You can check out the services I offer and browse the samples and success stories in my portfolio

  2. You can book some of my services directly or apply for my core offers through my Discovery Form. In that case (if I genuinely think it’d be the right investment for you), we’ll start with a consultation. You can find aaaaaall the deets here

  3. As for the actual collaboration… well, it depends on what service you need! But what I can always promise you is:

    • you’ll know exactly what to expect (and you can find all the information and next steps on each service/offer page)

    • I start by diving into your current challenges and goals to craft the perfect strategy for you

    • as soon as we get cracking? Our collaboration will be oh-so-productive and magical✨

FAQs About Copywriting & Content Writing

What is copywriting?

Copywriting means writing marketing texts that connect with your audience and compel them to take action.

It’s about grabbing your target clients’ attention with the first sentence and making EVERY. SINGLE. WORD. countso that they don’t stop reading.

Is there a word that doesn’t do that? Is it only adding fluff rather than value? Then a copywriter will cut it out. Without mercy. Because your readers haven’t got time for that.

Copywriting goes hand in hand with the rest of your marketing strategy because it tells your brand story and sells your services. And when it comes to website copy? It should get along with SEO, too.

Basically, copywriting is NOT (just) about bEiNg CrEaTiVe or putting some pretty words on a page. It’s about psychology and sales.

And that’s why you need a professional copywriter—not just someone who’s ‘good at English.’

What exactly does a copywriter do?

A copywriter creates written promotional texts (aka copy) that help a business stand out, connect with its target audience, and turn more prospects into paying clients.

And the best copywriters do so by welcoming your dream audience into your brand story, too.

Why do I need a copywriter?

You need a copywriter because I’m sure you’re already the best at delivering your actual services—but that doesn’t mean you can write about them effectively (you know, in a way that makes your target audience go, “Take my money right freakin’ now.”)

Those are two completely different sets of skills!

And if your marketing copy isn’t selling your services? It doesn’t matter how good you actually are at delivering them: your audience will never find out.

That’s why you need a copywriter.

  • I’ll attract your dream market (and repel your nightmare audience) and take them from prospects to paying clients

  • You just “worry” about impressing them once they’re on boardbut you’ve already got that covered, don’t you?

What is the difference between content marketing and copywriting?

Content marketing and content writing are about the long-term game.

  • 95% of your audience are NOT ready to buy from you! So, this strategy is about creating outstanding content that educates them, allows you to retain them, and makes you stand out against your competitors

  • That way, when they’re finally ready to buy, guess who they’ll think of?!

  • Example: blogging on your business website

Copywriting focuses on immediate action.

  • Every page or piece of copy is usually built around a single call to action, whether that’s buying from you or subscribing to your newsletter and so on

  • It’s about inspiring an instant connection with your target audience, positioning you as the logical solution, and getting that 5% to take the next step

  • Example: your website copy

Let me be crystal clear: it’s NOT about one or the other. You need both content marketing and copywriting! And they must always work together, amplifying your core brand messaging and story.

What’s this SEO you keep talking about?

SEO stands for search engine optimisation. It’s the internet practice of increasing the quantity (and quality) of your website traffic. Basically, it’s about making it easier for your audience to find you on Google.

What has it got to do with copywriting and content writing, I hear you ask?

Well, you can invest in website copy and blog posts that aren’t optimised for search engines or SEO-friendly content that gives you the BEST chances of showing up on Google.

I know which one I’d choose.

(In fact, I’ve already chosen the latter. That’s how I get a huge chunk of my own clients. So, that’s also what I include with my services)

How does blogging help with SEO?

Blogging helps the SEO of your website in many different ways:

  • By adding fresh content (aka blog posts) to your website regularly, you’re showing Google that it’s still relevant and updated

  • Each blog post is also a new indexed page. This means your website gets bigger—and Google LOVES websites with a tonne of content

  • Each new page is also a chance to rank for a different keyword. There are only so many keywords you can include on your main website pages. But with a blog? You’ll get to target hundreds of relevant ones. So, you’re giving yourself more chances of attracting your audience organically through Google

  • Blogging attracts more backlinks, and it allows you to include more internal ones, too. These are all fancy words to say “lots and lots of SEO juice.”

Are there any other benefits of blogging for business?

Well, where do I start? As well as boosting the SEO of your entire website, an effective blogging strategy:

  • sets you apart from your competitors

  • turns more readers into newsletter subscribers (so that you can retain them)

  • gives you outstanding content that you can then repurpose into social media posts and newsletters

  • positions you as a thought leader in your field

  • smoothens the sales funnel

  • builds trust

  • brings you more leads and clients
